Lux has been the fore front of Clay County’s designer consignment shopping.With 18 years of reselling and consigning Lux has designed a unique personal consignment experience. Below you will find our Consignor contract to open a consignment or selling account with us.In 2019 LUX switched to appointment only for consignment of clothing, shoes and cash buys.We do have items that can be brought in with out an appointment.

Terms
Clause 1:
Consignors May Consign A Maximum Of 30 CLOTHING & 30 SHOES, PER GENDER, & BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
LUX CAN PROVIDE YOU WITH HANGERS IF NEEDED.
ITEMS THAT REQUIRE AN APPOINTMENT: ALL CLOTHING & SHOES
ITEMS THAT DO NOT REQUIRE AND APPOINTMENT: DESIGNER HANDBAGS & JEWELRY, LUXURY HANDBAGS & JEWELRY, COSTUME JEWELRY, UNUSED BEAUTY PRODUCTS.
Clause 2:
All Clothing Items must be on hangers, clean, wrinkle free, hair free and in like new condition for immediate tagging. Items that do not meet these conditions may not be accepted. How to bring items(s) in for your appointment:
Tops/ Dresses: On hangers
Skirts: On Hangers
Pants/Shorts: May be laid flat or in a laundry basket/ bin for your appointment Shoes: In laundry basket or tote. NO SHOE BOXES
Designer Handbags & Wallets: In tote or laundry basket.
Designer & Costume Jewelry: PLEASE put each piece of jewelry in individual zip lock bags so they do not tangle. Jewelry that is brought in tangled, bundled together will be donated and or thrown away.
Clause 3:
Consignment term is a minimum of 75 days on colored tag items Ex: Clothing, Shoes, Boutique handbags & wallets
90 day minimum on all other items: Ex: Designer handbags, wallets, Designer jewelry, estate jewelry, costume jewelry, tech items, luxury brands.
Items are placed for sale based on space availability.
Select Luxury couture brand (white tag) items and jewelry are kept up to a year at the discretion of LUX.
LUX will discount color tag items 25%, 50%, and 75% during the consignment term depending on the age of inventory item.
ALL items are subject to an additional 20-25% off with in-store coupons and sales throughout the consignment term.
ALL items are subject to 10% Military Discount on items.
Clause 4:
Items become the property of LUX during the 75-90 day consignment term. If a consignor wishes to end the consignment term before the 90 day period there will be a cancelation fee of $5/ or 5%, whichever is greater, of the resale value of the item. LUX reserves the right to give an account cash pay off on any account(s) to close out or end a consignment term early at their discretion, or at the request of the consignor if the period falls before the 75-90 day consignment term.
Clause 5:
When your consignment term ends LUX will give a COURTESY phone call or text to pick up your unsold item(s). If no phone number is provided you will not be contacted. All unclaimed items will then be donated to charity and or become the property of LUX. If you do not receive a phone call all your items have sold, and you have monies to pick up or use in store credit.
Clause 6:
LUX is not responsible for lost, stolen, and or damaged consignment items
Clause 7:
Consignors may use any monies earned as-store credit for an additional 10% of the earrings on the available balance on any business day.
Example: you earned $100 on items sold. You get $110 if you spend it in store credit.
Clause 8:
Consignor's may pick up and cash out any monies earned under $50 on any day available in store.
If your balance is larger than $50 Please call ahead to be added to the list for electronic transfers. ALL electronic transfers are processed and paid out monthly on the 15th of the month. Consignor may have their funds transferred via electronic transfers with Zelle, Pay Pal, Or Cash App. Please keep in mind if this is your first time receiving funds you may see two separate deposits due to electronic transfer limits set by the banking institutions.
Clause 9:
Clothing, Shoes, & Accessories; Consignors Receive 40% of the sale when the item sells
Clause 10:
Costume & Designer Jewelry priced under $498 Receive 50% Of the final selling price of the item(s).
Clause 11:
Designer Handbags & Wallets; Priced $498 and under; Consignors Receive 50% of the sale when the item sells
Clause 12:
ITEMS PRICED $499-$1499 RECEIVE 60% OF THE SALE AT THE TIME OF THE SALE
Clause 13:
ITEMS PRICED $1500- $4999 RECEIVE 80% OF THE SALE AT THE TIME OF THE SALE
Clause 14:
ITEMS PRICED $5000 & ABOVE RECEIVE 85% OF THE SALE AT THE TIME OF THE SALE
Clause 15
Items that are accepted for consignment are inspected and authenticated by our in house authenticator/buyer as well as processed through our ENTRUPY software.
LUX, reserves the right to price and value each item(s) consigned during the consignment period.
Should an item be found not authentic it will be returned to the consignor.
Clause 16
Consignors may request an itemized account inventory list and our pay out list after the first 30 day consignment period to insure all items have been properly inventoried and on the sales floor.
Inventory lists may be sent via email on file or printed out to be picked up in-store.
This contract may be signed electronically. Electronic signatures count as original for all purposes.
By typing their names as signatures below, both parties agree to the terms and provisions of this agreement.
